This assassin bug mimics a bee quite well. It even seems to have pollen baskets on its hind legs.

  1. Amazing mimicry! I wonder whether bees are his prey and if he’s more successful than our Apiomerus species.

    Nice shot. This is the genus Notocyrtus (Reduviidae).
